THE LOVE DOLLS 2022
It's as if Science took time for space. Scientific time is quantitative, but action in time is qualitative. Not infrequently, we experience time depending on the degree of pleasure or discomfort that a given activity gives us. Thus, there are hours that fade into seconds and seconds that drag on for hours.
Chronology and clock time is, in fact, the time elaborated and followed by contemporary life, in its social and technical dimensions. It is difficult to say where the human ends and the inhuman begins, whether as technological ramifications or acting in a world that is above all image and publicity. Social networks, electronic messages, daily and routine tasks colonize life span, whose purpose seems to elude us.
Qualitative time does not seem to follow the order of the chronometer. On the contrary, it seems to be the intuition that gives us a more direct knowledge of ourselves, of our duration, of the continuous melody of our inner life, and that allows us to coincide sympathetically with other contractions of duration, of other ephemeral lives, such as that of an insect or that of a plant.
What if time doesn't pass as we think?
